I had taken my cat a month ago now to the vet because he had started to suddenly vomit every day. where I had paid £240 for them to touch my cat a bit and take a blood test. After all of that they had proceeded to tell me that he was perfectly fine and healthy and for me to change the food up. They had given me medication which was meant to help the cat poo and not to help stop the vomiting. Two weeks went by and by this point he was not eating and lost an awfully large amount of weight, baring in mind he was quite a chunky cat. He had started to eat less and pee/poo in the house because his back legs has seemed to stop working as well as what they had before. I had spent my time blending up food and feeding my cat through a syringe for nearly 3 weeks this had also included water. My cat had went throughout so much pain to the point he couldn’t even walk and in the space of 3 weeks he had passed. He was a very outgoing cat and loved his food and to see the drastic change in not only his appearance but in his physical movements is shocking. My cat had went through so much pain because he was told that he was apparently “fit and healthy”. I dont know who works there but you should have no right to still work with animals!

Very caring veterinary service..Miguel explains everything really clearly. Staff all seem very friendly..
.. only downside is that out of hours are at a different place and company meaning you don't get that consistently of care, sadly all vets seem to be going down this road now.

Our dog wasn’t well whilst travelling through the village. Rang them up, we were seen within a couple of hours. Lovely and caring. Thank you for looking after Trent.

Great place, friendly staff dedicated to their career in animal care. Vets are helpful, knowledgeable and willing to provide relevant advice and suggestions. Prices are there or there abouts.
Access for the mobility impaired or confined to a wheelchair is excellent. Car park and entrance to vicarage is all in the flat as is the consultation rooms. Although probably left over from COVID their is a covered outdoor waiting area if pets get a bit feisty or you just want to sit in the sun.

Called in today with a urine sample for mum's dog. We were there last night, bloods and urine tested, paid around £225. Was kept at the desk today whilst the veterinary nurse checked if today's test was paid for. Really??? Mum paid £225 last night, her dog is her world and of course she will pay. Asked if mum would get a call today, told " I would hope do, but we are very busy"

Have been with this practice for about three years. Very relieved that they have not been “swallowed up” by Medivet who seem to have the monopoly in Lincolnshire. I normally see Miguel who is great with my dogs Molly and Toby. Recently, Molly had a huge swelling appear under her jaw on the front of her neck. All the staff were great during this very worrying time. Sam dealt with arranging for Molly to be seen at a practice in Wakefield that had a MRI and CT scanner, Miguel and Anne tended to Molly and the staff are also dealing with my insurance claim. The lump transpired to be an abscess, cause unknown. Very thankful I had insurance with Purely Pets as the bill will be in excess of £5000😩.
Good to know you have a great practice in your area.

Always used Vicarage vets with all the dogs I've had.
Just got a new one and he's registered there.
Always great care and attention.
